Scholarship Information

The Maine Osteopathic Educational Foundation (MOEF) awards multiple scholarships to students attending accredited and AOA approved colleges of osteopathic medicine and to students who have matched into Maine residencies. The deadline for applications for scholarship support is May 1st of each year. Scholarships are available only to Maine residents.

Residence in Maine for the sole purpose of post-secondary education is not considered evidence of Maine residence for the purposes of the scholarship. An applicant who is a graduate of a public or private secondary school in Maine is considered eligible regardless of whether or not the applicant has resided elsewhere in the interim between graduation and application. The MOEF reserves the right to require evidence of legal residence and to interpret the residence status of any application in the spirit of the Foundation's intent to provide support to "Maine students".
